Hi, all! Since my family has grown past visits from Santa and ‘Elf on the Shelf’ I’ve had to create a new way to hold onto the ‘magic’ of the Christmas season. To that end, we have hosted a Christmas Day Open House for the past three years. Nothing fancy, but a way to get everyone together and catch up ….think more ‘Red Solo Cup’ than ‘Black Tie’. My favorite part of planning this event is finding the perfect ‘Christmas Cocktail’ to fill my ginourmous drink dispenser.

1.) Hello, gorgeous …. ( https://www.farmwifedrinks.com/moscow-mule-punch/ ) – This site lists this as a summer time punch …. which sounds delish. Should I choose this one, I would add fresh cranberries to the garnish and call it something like ‘Ginger Jingler‘ …. mainly to see how many cups it would take before one could no longer say the name …. Bahahahaha …. 🎅🏻
2.) Here’s the thing. I’m a Wisco girl, a bar fly at heart, and no ‘Christmas Cheer’ list would be complete without a home grown ale ( http://www.pointbeer.com/beers/seasonal-brews/snow-pilot/ ) …. fill a wash tub or two with ice and 99 bottles of this and call it …. cheer-worthy! Also, last one to the wash tub will be denied a bottle and actually be the Designated Snow Pilot, AKA, safe ride home … 🎅🏻
3.) Well Hello, Gorgeous ( https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a50192/cran-apple-sangria-recipe/ ) – This drink just screams FA! LA! LA! and that shall be thy name! Honestly, it’s beautiful. For my dispenser I may have to double, triple the doseage …. er, recipe …. 🎅🏻

5.) This drink is aptly named ‘White Christmas‘ Let it snow. Let it snow. LET! IT! SNOW! This one is truly a bit more involved and may not translate as a large batch recipe for the dispenser ….. but, I’ve included it as a more of a ‘snow day’ DIY …. 🎅🏻
